Easy share link to files | Social Browser bug fix | Carerix Datasource update

Updated over 2 years ago

Copy the URL to files in Carerix (and share it with your peers!)

Carerix is introducing the possibility to easily copy the URL of a (candidate, contact etc.) file to your systems clipboard in order to paste it somewhere else. This makes it easier to cooperate with your peers and share specific files and information in your Carerix system with other Carerix users.

How it works:

A new icon will be visible next to the file title:

Clicking on the icon will copy the deeplink / direct URL to the particular file to your clipboard. You can send the URL to your peers. On the condition that they have access to the same Carerix system they will be able to immediately open the particular file.

Activation:

We will gradually activate this for all customers over the course of the upcoming months.

Carerix DataSource updates

The following changes to the Carerix Datasource product apply as of May 9th

  • The FTP server is upgraded;

  • A DNS A record datasource.carerix.net is created with a direction to IP address 3.121.45.103;

  • The TLS wildcard certificate *.carerix.net on the FTP server is activated;

  • New method of authenticating is implemented (your username and password stay the same).

As of Monday May 9th it is recommended to use the Fully Qualified Domain Name datasource.carerix.net to collect and download our datasource files.

The IP address 3.121.45.103 remains active until (at least) July 1st 2022. Since the IP address does not match with the common name of the wildcard certificate, the TLS certificate will be incorrect. You need to allow and accepts this exception in your client one-time.

Smaller improvements & Bug fixes

  • SocialBrowser plugin: solved an issue causing the plugin to stall on LinkedIn and Xing after being used on VDAB.

  • There was a small issue with disabling the copy job order using the disableCopyJobOrderOption setting. It appeared that it was still possible to make a copy of an active job order. This was solved.

  • Fixed an issue that caused the pagination buttons in calendar and detail screens to be invisible. These are visible again.

  • Fixed a bug causing the Carerix Mobile application not able to authenticate when using Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS)
