Within Carerix searching and matching can be done easily at menu 'Files' | 'Job order'. From here on you see an overview of the Job orders, whereby you can search the Candidates that suits the Job order best.
Search candidate for job order
After you selected a Job order, a screen appears with the 'General-Tab'.
Here you find the job information like: work location, working hours, salary indication etc.
Go to 'Files' | 'Candidates'
Go to 'Candidate search-Tab'
A standard search profile is loaded with the function group and function of the corresponding Job order. Listed below a few remarks when searching through Candidates.
Change the filterprofile by clicking on the arrows of the dropdown menus
The magnifying glass indicates a fixed choice, clicking on this icon repeatedly has the meaning of a logical 'OR' search (thus more results will show up).
Between each search-line there is a logical 'AND' (thus more search-lines give less results)
"Clear all" clears the standard filterprofile
Saving a filterprofile lets you execute the search later again. The search is performed when activated.
Search results can be sorted by clicking on the column heading
Match source shows the number of active procedures this candidate is in right now
The standard search lists all the candidates that have the corresponding 'Function Group'/'Function' set at the general tab (of the candidate file) at either position #1, #2 or #3
Advanced Searching
Advance searching is done with variables, with the use of variables you have much more possibilities when searching through your candidates. Below a few remarks when using advances search methods.
The background color of the fields are blue when variables are used. Here a selection is made of some variables that are often used with its corresponding Cxcode.
When searching for texts in resumes, snippets of content of the resume can be seen by hovering the mouse pointer above the 'cv' label behind the name of the candidate.
Both MSWord and PDF resumes are searched
When searching with 2 or more words in resumes, the best match gets a relative score of 100%. Scoring is based on frequency and distance.
In order to open a CV, you can hover over the percentage number, click on the number (and then click on Open Original CV) or by clicking on the arrow on the right side of the screen.
Matching
There are two ways to create a match:
Choose 'Add to matches' from the select Action menu, and click [OK];
Candidates apply through the web portal
Once a match is created for certain candidates for a specific vacancy, these candidates will not show up again in the Candidate search tab of this job order. For other vacancies, the same candidates may show up in the results of a search.
The searchline shows on default only the matches (candidates) which are shown of which the stage is not final (like rejected)
Send the client an e-mail with multiple resumes with the Send List action menu command.
In the match screen, choose the right Stage and optionally, activate the corresponding e-mail template. All the stages make 1 'workflow'. Multiple workflows may be defined, for example for recruitment, staffing, interim and so on.
Incoming e-mail is automatically connected to the right 'related records' (vacancy, match, candidate). So the incoming mail can immediately be processed and the next step can be taken
