Carerix AI automatically generates summaries, prompts and other AI texts in the language of your Carerix environment. Does the text unexpectedly appear in English or in another language? That is almost always down to a language setting. Below you'll read how Carerix determines the language and how to correct it.
How does Carerix decide the language of AI content?
Carerix AI uses the system language: the default language of your Carerix environment. This language drives the texts in the interface, in pop-ups and the language in which AI prompts and summaries are generated. If the system language of HireData is set to English, for example, the AI creates the summary in English — even if you work in Dutch yourself.
👉🏼 Please note: what the system language does and does not translate
The system language drives interface texts, pop-ups and (AI) prompts and summaries.
Email templates and tables are not translated automatically.
AI summary in the wrong language?
Does a summary unexpectedly appear in another language? Work through these steps:
Check the language set for your user. If you work in Dutch, this should be set to Dutch.
Is your own language correct, but the AI keeps writing in the wrong language? Then the system language (the environment's default language) of HireData is probably set to another language.
The system language is managed centrally. Contact the administrator of your Carerix environment or Carerix Support to have it changed.
💡 Tip
Once the system language is set correctly, Carerix AI automatically generates new summaries in that language again. Existing summaries stay in the old language — regenerate them to get them in the correct language.
Good to know
The system language applies to the entire environment; the user language applies per user.
Not everything is translated along: you maintain email templates and tables in the desired language yourself.
New system languages are added from time to time. For existing environments, a configuration change is sometimes required to make a language available.
