Release 5.367 & 5.368 // 11 January 2025

My Assistant | Clean up | Activities | Kanban

Updated over 9 months ago

📢 Announcement: Changes to Creating New Candidate Options

With the update to CV parsing, which now allows you to extract candidate CVs much faster and pull relevant information into the correct fields, we are also retiring two other options:

  • The "quick option," which only extracted name, address, and contact details, will no longer be available as it offers no added value compared to the standard parser.

  • The option to copy and paste a LinkedIn profile, which has not been functioning well for some time, will also be discontinued. Instead, you can use the Carerix SocialBrowser to save candidates with their LinkedIn profiles directly in Carerix.

⚠️Note: Both options will no longer be available starting Friday, January 24.

🆕 Carerix AI: More Context, Less Copying and Pasting!

Thanks to several new changes in how you can use prompts, Carerix AI is now more integrated into your workflow. Previously, you could already invoke Carerix AI prompts for selected text from Carerix text fields. This would open the standard right-hand Carerix AI panel. With this release, several changes are being introduced:

  • In addition to choosing from pinned prompts, you can now select "Ask AI." In both cases, a new pop-up screen opens, allowing you to ask questions or select one of the predefined prompts (both pinned and non-pinned).

  • You can now easily process Carerix AI's responses directly where you invoked it. With the click of a button, you can add the latest answer or replace the selected text. This eliminates the need to copy and paste.

🆕 Create activities straight from the Kanban

To further improve the embedding of the kanban board in My Assistant in your working processes it now is also possible to create tasks, notes and meetings in the context of a match:

🆕 Extended clean up proposal tool in My Assistant

We have extended the clean up proposal tool in My Assistant. It now also will show up in the following places once you change a candidate or job status into a final one:

  • Matches list

  • Match preview

  • Candidates list

  • Candidates previews

  • Job list

  • Job preview

🤖 Minor Improvements and Bug Fixes

Every release includes minor improvements and bug fixes that enhance performance and user experience. Not all changes are visible to the end user. If the release contains updates that directly impact the software’s behavior and user experience, they will be briefly explained below.

  • The Social Browser Chrome plugin no longer worked properly on VDAB; this issue has been fixed. Additionally, problems with importing contact details from LinkedIn have also been resolved!

  • Due to a bug, it was no longer possible to anonymize already archived candidates, which caused an error message. This issue has now been corrected!

  • The fields for Candidate Rating and Candidate Engagement can now be enabled or disabled from the settings. To do so, go to the Seamless section and set the enableCandidateRating and/or enableCandidateEngagement settings to NO. After saving and refreshing the page, one or both components will no longer be visible in the candidate file and/or preview.

⚠️ Note: For most Belgian clients, candidate ranking is never visible.

  • Sorting the Candidate Rating column (ascending or descending) in My Assistant ⭐⭐⭐⭐ is now possible!

  • Candidate Evaluations have been added to match previews, making it easier to gain insight during match reviews.

  • The number of working hours was still displayed in the candidate preview when the showWorkingHours setting was disabled. For recruitment organizations that don’t work with hours, this is unnecessary information. Now, when the showWorkingHours setting is set to NO, working hours will no longer be shown in the preview.

  • It is now possible to update candidate and job statuses directly from matches in My Assistant. However, if statuses are configured as ‘read-only’ in the status table, they cannot be changed.

  • In the Agenda, the suggestion list of ‘recent participants’ was no longer working—this has now been fixed!
