🚀 What's new in Carerix version 5.414?
Another release is live! Below you'll read about the changes you'll notice most in your day-to-day work — and as always, there's a lot more going on behind the scenes than what you'll read here.
🧭 Switch between My Assistant and detail screens
Click a link to a related record and its preview opens on top of the current one — use your browser's Back button or simply close the preview to get right back.
Until now, links in a My Assistant preview opened the full file or a new preview, and closed the preview you were working in. Now every link to another record — a company, contact, vacancy, placement or a row in one of the tabs — opens that record's preview on top of the current one. Close it and you're straight back at the previous preview. And when you open a detail screen in the classic view, you can easily go back using the Back button in Carerix or in your browser!
What does this mean in practice?
Stay in your flow. Linked records open as a stacked preview; your original preview simply stays open underneath.
Back and Forward just work. Use your browser's Back button to return to a preview you just closed, and Forward to go again.
Click through lists quickly. Open a row from a tab in the preview and use previous/next to browse the list quickly.
The full file is still one click away. Click the record title or "Open record details" to open the full file. Return to the preview with your browser's Back button.
📑 More tabs and fields, more context in your previews — and all related activities at a glance
The activity information you used to open the full file for is now right in your My Assistant preview.
We keep building out the My Assistant previews. This release adds a whole new way to view the activities related to the record you have open, so you get the complete picture at a glance. On top of that, the previews for various record types have been filled in further with information that was still missing.
What does this mean in practice?
Activities tab. See the meetings, notes, tasks and emails linked to a record in one place.
Stage and status history. Matches, leads and opportunities now show how they moved through the stages. For candidates, vacancies, contacts and companies, among others, the status history is now visible too.
Contacts and Jobs tabs. Companies, vacancies, leads, opportunities and talent pools now show their linked contacts and/or jobs.
Postings tab for publications. For publications sent through a job distribution partner, follow the status of your postings and publish, refresh, repost or stop them straight from the preview.
GDPR info on matches. The match preview now shows the candidate's GDPR information.
Complete vacancy details. The remaining fields from the vacancy's General tab are now in the preview too.
Phase history and status history are displayed:
A candidate’s GDPR status is now also visible on the match:
✅ New Wizards: required fields in every Wizard
Make sure new records are complete right from the start.
The "Required in New Wizard" setting — including conditional requiredness — now works for all record types in the new creation Wizards: vacancies, matches, companies, contacts, leads, opportunities, talent pools, publications, placements, tasks and notes. Fields your organization has marked as required have to be filled in before you can create the record, so incomplete files no longer slip through. It also means that fields that matter to you but aren't in the standard Carerix Wizard can be added to the Wizard as well.
ℹ️ Want to set required fields for your organization? Your system administrator can configure them — or contact Carerix Support or your Customer Success Manager for help!
🛠️ Minor Improvements & Bug Fixes
My Assistant – Follow-up tasks. Create a follow-up task directly from a task preview or detail in My Assistant.
Calendar – Smarter meeting locations. When planning a meeting, the company and vacancy addresses now appear as location suggestions next to your branch.
New Wizards – Faster media selection. In the New Publication Wizard you can select all visible media at once, and your search stays in place after you pick an option.
My Assistant – Find columns quickly. Searching in the column configuration of your overviews is smoother, with a clear button and a fresh search every time you open the list.
Configuration profiles in previews. Your configuration profile rules now also apply to candidate documents, company credit limit and the company phone numbers on contacts in the previews.
Change log. Changes to the ID valid-until date, ID code and nationality are now recorded in the Carerix change logs. These are available via the API and included in the data source.
Vacancy statuses in the right order. Due to a small bug, vacancy statuses weren't shown in the right order on the detail screens. This has been fixed: statuses once again follow the order set in your configuration via the index numbers.
Publication status. The status of a closed publication can no longer be edited from the preview, just like in the full file.
Quick Search. The "Show more" button only appears when there really are more results.
Visual polish. Tidier avatars in quick previews, long labels no longer break the layout, wider status/stage dropdowns and better-sized buttons in meetings.
