New UI | Switch off candidate preview working hours

Updated over 2 years ago

🔎Display of working hours in the preview of a candidate

By default Carerix shows the calculated number of hours a week a candidate is able or willing to work next to the status. Some organisations consider this not relevant as they do only recruitment for example. With the introduction of the new setting showWorkingHours available in the settings menu, section attributes & fields, it becomes possible to turn off this display. The number is calculated on the admin tab of a candidate by filling out the daily number of hours in a week schedule. The default value is YES. So if you want this to be changed: set the setting to 'NO'.

🎨 New UI updates

The following elements in the UI have been updated:

  • We started the implementation of updates for record previews by adding a new scroll component that allows you to move back and forth through your records easily. It is not needed (but still possible) to click in the overview. The scroll component will be available in all preview headers. The order of the records is based on the selected sorting and the active previewed record will be highlighted in the grid. Moreover the control to open and close the preview is renewed but still on the same position in the top right corner. The control to give the preview its default size is removed. It is still possible to resize the preview by dragging on the border between the preview and the overview grid.

  • Fixed a small bug causing menu items without a defined background color to be displayed incorrect.

  • Fixed a small issue concerning the horizontal scroll in larger text fields like publication texts.

  • The set stage... menu in overviews was not available in match tabs in candidates and job order. This is fixed. Note it is still missing in the match tab in a company file, this will be solved in the next release.

⚠️ Note: We apply a staged roll out for new UI elements and your system might not yet have them. In that case you do not have to worry as we will bring them to you any time soon! If you would like to be included as an early adopter, please contact your customer success manager.

🤖 Small improvements and bug fixes:

Every release includes minor improvements and bugfixes that improve the performance and user experience. Not all of them are visible to the end user. Fixes that directly affect software behavior and user experience are briefly noted below.

  • A small bug was resolved that caused the pagination in overviews not work (it was not possible to go to any other page than the first page) in case the subsidiary filter checkbox was in use.
