Create Microsoft Teams meetings in Carerix | Socialbrowser update | New eID reader subclasses

Updated over 2 years ago

Microsoft Teams integrated in Carerix meetings

To further streamline working processes we have included the possibility to easily create a Microsoft Teams meeting from within Carerix. Simply click on the button to create a Teams meeting. If you do this you have to authenticate with your office 365 credentials. Once the meeting is created the button will change into a meeting entry button to start the meeting.

Currently this benefits all internal colleagues. Everyone with access to the meeting can use the button to create and join the teams meeting. In next iterations it will be made easier to share the teams meeting (url) with external contacts and candidates.

If you do not use Microsoft Teams it is easy to switch off the option via the maintenance section of your application. Go to maintenance --> General panel --> createMicrosoftTeamsMeetings and set the value to 'NO'. After relogin the button will be disabled and not visible anymore.

Smaller improvements, updates and bug fixes

  • For Belgium eID card readers two new eID card types have been added to be assigned to the Identification Document table as a subclass. It now is possible to identify Foreigner K and Foreigner L type of cards automatically.

  • It appeared that for several services - including the consent yes/no, job alert subscription, newsletter subscription and the password forgotten flow - the single time use URL could become inactive due to bots using the link before the recipient does. This should be prevented by now.

  • LinkedIn got some updates that broke our Socialbrowser. This has been fixed and a new version of the Socialbrowser extension for Chrome was released on the 9th of December.
