Updates on the Carerix Chrome plugin

Updated over a week ago

This two weekly Carerix release update is a pre-release note. We would like to give you more insights in upcoming changes and give you the opportunity and time to prepare/adapt to upcoming feature releases. In two weeks from now this update will be live.

Socialbrowser LinkedIN/Xing/VDAB: improved candidate suggestions in case the last name prefix is in the last name field.

We improved the recognition of candidates and contacts for LinkedIn and VDAB when in the Carerix system the last name prefix is included in the surname field itself instead of in the dedicated last name prefix field. The Chrome plugin now is better able to present possible duplicates to the end user. Who in turn now is better able to decide to connect a social profile to an existing candidate record or to create a new candidate/contact record without creating a duplicate.

Minor changes and bug fixes

  • Applied a fix for an issue occasionally causing attendees to disappear from meetings

  • Social browser LinkedIn/Xing/VDAB: fixed an issue occasionally causing empty named candidates and matches being created from the Chrome plugin.

  • Improved performance for shared offices functionality

  • Fixed a bug causing the extend consent links in the default email templates not working correctly in some individual cases
