Use Search lines together with variable terms to carry out dynamic searches.
Multiple search terms are saved in a search profile. The usage and saving of search profiles depends on your User role.
Method
Search goal: Display the tasks that are modified before the first day of the month:
Go to 'Activities' | 'Tasks'
In the Searchfilter you select "Modification date" in the left field
Select "Is before" in the second field
Click the icon on the rigth of the search field
Choose "$now.firstDayOfMonth"
Click [Find]
Click [Save] to save the search profile
