Release 5.409 // 8 August 2026

Your custom fields now appear automatically in previews | Candidate experience, calculated for you | & more!

🚀 What’s new in Carerix version 5.409?

Every release brings big and small improvements. Below, you’ll find the changes that have the biggest impact on your daily work. And as always, there’s plenty more happening behind the scenes than we can mention here!

📋 Additional fields and custom tabs now available in My Assistant

Your own additional fields now automatically appear in My Assistant and the new creation wizards — no extra configuration required.

The additional fields you’ve configured in Carerix are now also available in My Assistant and the new wizards for no fewer than 12 record types: candidates, vacancies, companies, contacts, talent pools, talent pool matches, leads, opportunities, matches, placements, publications and tasks.

The fields appear on the tab or panel to which they were originally assigned, including custom panels. So there’s no need to configure or set anything up again.

What does this mean in practice?

  • All your fields, without extra configuration: Every additional field you’ve configured in Carerix automatically appears in the relevant preview or wizard.

  • Required fields where you need them: The new creation wizards show the fields that are required within your organisation for new records, so you immediately know which information is needed.

  • You stay in control: Using your existing configuration profile, you can still hide individual fields, make them read-only or mark them as required per tenant.

🧑‍💼 My Assistant: new Experience and Education tabs

Get instant insight into a candidate’s work experience and education.

The Experience tab for candidates now automatically calculates total work experience and the average duration of employment based on their recorded work history.

Overlapping periods of employment are combined so they aren’t counted twice. Periods without work experience are excluded from the calculation. The figures are automatically updated whenever the work history changes.

This gives you a clear and reliable overview of a candidate’s work experience at a glance — without having to do the calculations yourself.

We’ve also refreshed the interface of the Experience and Education tabs, making this information easier to navigate and giving it a cleaner, more modern look.

🛠️ Small improvements & bug fixes

  • Vacancy templates now copy everything. Copy from template now copies all fields from the selected template instead of only part of them.

  • Permission error when creating a placement fixed. Creating a placement no longer incorrectly results in a message saying that you don’t have permission to do so.

  • AI text suggestions work again in Safari. The AI context menu for text fields can now be opened and used correctly in Safari again.

  • Carerix Notetaker: more reliable call recordings. If the connection drops during a recording, the connection is automatically restored and the recording continues. Previously recorded information is not lost.

  • My Assistant: more details in Lead and Opportunity previews. Branch, group and signing authority information is now directly visible in the previews.

  • My Assistant: new Candidates tab for companies. See which candidates are linked to a company directly, without opening the full dossier.

  • My Assistant: new Vacancies tab in contact previews. Quickly see which vacancies a contact is linked to.

  • Jobdigger import issue fixed. An issue has been resolved where importing a vacancy via Jobdigger could incorrectly create a match.
