🔧 Release Notes Carerix 5.379 & 5.380
Each update includes major and/or minor improvements and bug fixes to optimize performance and user experience. Not all changes are immediately visible. If an update affects the functionality or interface of the software, we briefly explain it below.
✅ Carerix SocialBrowser Chrome Extension Update
A new version of the Carerix SocialBrowser Chrome extension is now available. This update ensures that:
Creating contacts via LinkedIn works again.
The plugin is operational again on Xing for creating candidates and contacts.
Note: At this time, we are still not storing contact details (email address & phone number) or extensive work experience, education, and skills when adding a candidate or contact from Xing. We're working on a solution for this.
⚠️ The Chrome extension is usually updated automatically. To verify this, right-click on the extension icon in Chrome and click 'Manage Extension'. Check if the version is 0.14.6.26. If not, click the update button in the top left corner.
✅ CRM: Contact Information Added in ‘Related Files’ Section of Tasks, Notes, and Emails
To improve the user experience within CRM, we've added the contact’s email address and LinkedIn URL to both the task preview and the related files section in the task detail view. The company website has also been added, making this information more easily accessible without needing to navigate to the corresponding file first.
✅ Change in Report Download Behavior: New Tab Instead of New Window
Due to a change in Google Chrome, Carerix’s behavior when opening a report has been slightly modified. Previously, a new window opened where the file was either displayed or automatically downloaded (depending on browser settings). After the Chrome change, only a blank window appeared while the file was downloaded, requiring extra steps to open it via the file explorer.
We’ve updated this behavior: downloading now opens a new tab instead of a new window. HTML files are displayed directly in the tab. Other files are downloaded (if browser settings allow) and opened automatically. In that case, the tab will close automatically.
✅ Assisted Matching OEM (Pilot)
With Assisted Matching OEM, Carerix aims to significantly improve search and match functionality.
Added Candidate Filters: A new set of fields from the candidate file is now available as filters in the Assisted Matching tab.
Default Distance Search: The default search radius is now set to 30 km. We are working on making this default value configurable via feature settings in the Marketplace.
Multiselect Dropdown Behavior: The behavior of dropdowns with multiple selection options has been changed: the menu now remains open so you can select multiple values without needing to start over each time.

✅ GraphQL API: Support for Decimals in xxWorkHours & xxWorkMinutes
With a small change to the GraphQL API, we now support decimals for the xxWorkHours and xxWorkMinutes attributes. This resolves several issues in portals. This change is available to all API users.
✅ System Activity Delete Logs: Correct Responsible User
In the delete logs, the responsible person shown was mistakenly the owner of the deleted record instead of the actual user who deleted it. We have corrected this.
