📢 Announcement: Changes to the Calculation of Legal Consent Expiration Date for Storing Personal Data (GDPR)
For technical reasons, we are currently revising how we calculate the expiration date for consent to store personal data. At present, Carerix allows complete flexibility in specifying the duration (in days, weeks, months, or years) for which data may be stored based on the chosen type of consent. This will change. From now on, the consent period will exclusively be determined using the consentperiodclass dropdown. The most common durations have been included in this dropdown.
⚠️Please note: The impact of this change is expected to be minimal, as our analysis shows that the vast majority of customers already use matching durations.
You don’t need to take any action. If we anticipate implications for your setup, we will contact you.
🤖 Small improvements and bug fixes
Each release includes small improvements and bug fixes that enhance performance and user experience. Not all changes are visible to the end user. If the release contains changes that directly affect the software’s behavior and user experience, they are briefly explained below.
Text Editors
Candidate evaluation and work history fields now feature the updated text editor.
In the text editor, you can now choose whether to paste as plain text or retain formatting.
When the paste button is enabled, clipboard content is stripped of all code/formatting and pasted as plain text.
When the button is disabled, content is pasted with its original formatting.
Pasting can be done via right-click, "paste" option, or CTRL/CMD+V.
Right-clicking within text editor fields now shows the operating system's native menu instead of editor-specific options.
Default behavior:
In emails: pasting as plain text is OFF by default.
In other text editor fields: pasting as plain text is ON by default.
Carerix remembers your last preference.

New Columns in Candidate Overviews: Sector and Industry are now available as columns.
New Fields in Candidate Records: These fields enable future features, such as candidate assessment mechanisms, multichannel conversations, and integration of NPS scores into recruitment processes:

Preferred Communication Channel: A new dropdown, editable in the UI and usable by future features.

New Fields in Candidate Previews: Rating/Review Score and Engagement Score have been added. These are stepping stones for expanded functionality:
Rating/Review Score: Allows you to rate candidates from 1 to 5 stars. In the future, functionality will include sorting by rating, displaying scores in overviews, and leaving independent reviews to calculate an average score.
Engagement Score: This measures a candidate's level of interaction with recruitment marketing automation (RMA). Higher engagement indicates a warmer candidate and greater success potential. While always visible now, future updates will link the score’s visibility to RMA activation in your app.
Match Cleanup Tool: Now available in the candidate and vacancy tabs of My Assistant. You can close remaining open matches directly from candidate or vacancy funnels when their statuses are updated to "successful" or "unsuccessful." Refer to our documentation for more details.
