Updated over a week ago

⚠️Please note:

  • Only data that the respective user is allowed to see according to their user role permissions is shown in the dashboard.

  • For the proper functioning of this dashboard, your match and candidate source tables need to be properly configured. At a minimum, make sure that:

    • You assign all your sources with an external or internal tag, according to the nature of the source.

  • For the proper functioning of this dashboard, the assignment of sources to new candidates and matches needs to be configured correctly. Carerix is able to assign sources by default. Please review the assignment of default sources in your Carerix system.

  • To maximize your insights with this dashboard, it is advised to ensure that automatically created matches and candidates via job boards and your websites have the correct sources assigned. This setup needs to be done in close cooperation with your web developer.

The Candidates, Applicants & Source Dashboard in Carerix offers insights into the number of new candidates and matches, separated by source type (internal or external). It also provides insights into the distribution of sources across your candidates and applicants, enabling you to verify the effectiveness of job boards.

New Candidates Directly Added Chart

The New Candidates Directly Added Chart shows the number of candidates created by a source defined as internal. The candidate sources included in this count can be determined by the system administrator, who can assign the source class 'InternalSourceTag' to candidate sources in the system.

💡 Expert Tip:

By configuring a 'default' source in the 'candidate source' table, you ensure that candidates manually added to the system are automatically assigned this source and included in the count if this default source is also assigned the 'internalSourceTag'.

Criteria to be included in the above counts:

✅ The creation date of a candidate is within the time period set in the general filter (default: this month)

✅ The candidate record has a source with the source class 'InternalSourceTag' set

✅ The candidate record is not archived

New Candidates Added via Online Application Chart

The New Candidates Added via an Online Application Chart shows the number of candidates created by a source defined as external. The candidate sources included in this count can be determined by the system administrator, who can assign the source class 'ExternalSourceTag' to candidate sources in the system.

💡 Expert Tip:

To ensure that matches and candidates created during an application are assigned the correct source and that the counters for online and directly created candidates are accurate, make sure that:

  • The media you use specifies the default source for a match created via a particular medium.

  • In the 'match source' table, a specific 'candidate source' is assigned that Carerix can set for new candidates who apply online.

Criteria to be included in the above counts:

✅ The creation date of a candidate is within the time period set in the general filter (default: this month)

✅ The candidate record has a source with the source class 'ExternalSourceTag' set

✅ The candidate record is not archived

Matches Existing Candidates Chart

This counter shows the number of matches created for candidates who already existed in your database before the new match was created.

Criteria to be included in the sum:

✅ Matches that have a creation date and time which is not equal to the creation date and time of the related candidate

✅ No further configurational rules apply here

Matches Newly Added Candidates chart

This counter shows the number of matches for newly created candidates. The criteria are that the creation date and time (hh:mm:ss) of the match are equal to the creation date of the candidate (hh:mm:ss). This means that any additional matches for a candidate created today—whether made by recruiters on the same day or later, or through another application submitted by the candidate via your website or a job board—will not be included in this count. The counter, therefore, represents the number of candidates who were newly created and have a match; typically, these are online applicants.

Criteria to be included in the number of matches newly added candidates chart:

✅ Creation date and time of candidate and match are equal to each other

✅ No further configurational rules apply here

New Hires for ATS Matches Chart

In the 'New Hires for ATS Matches' section, we track the number of successfully closed recruitment procedures or matches created directly by recruiters or users within the Carerix UI.

Criteria to be included in the New Hires for ATS Matches chart:

✅ Match source has the internalSourceTag as a Source class configured

✅ Match stage is configured as Successfully closed

New Hires for Matches added via Website Chart

In the counter 'New Hires for Matches added via Website,' we count the number of successful recruitment procedures for matches with a source that includes 'web' in the name. These are typically applicants from the company's own website. However, any successfully closed match with a source name that contains 'web' is included in the count.

Criteria to be included in the New Hires for Matches via Website chart:

✅ Match source name contains 'web'

✅ Match stage is configured as Successfully closed

Matches by Source chart & Matches by ApplySource chart

The 'Matches by Source' chart displays a bar chart that counts the number of matches per match source within a given period of time. It provides insights into which channels are more or less successful and offers valuable information for strategic decisions. The numbers shown represent matches created during the selected period (default: this month).

By clicking on the 'by ApplySource' button, you can load the same bar chart, but this time for the ApplySource field, provided you use this field. Utilizing the ApplySource field on matches allows you to register root sources for matches (and candidates). For example, if candidates applied through your website after being redirected from an external job board, you can register the specific job board as the root source in the ApplySource field, rather than only registering your website as the source.

⚠️Please note:

👉🏿 Registering the root source of a match requires an advanced setup of your website. Your website needs to track the origin of your applicants and store this information in the ApplySource field in Carerix.

👉🏿 The ApplySource fields are not editable in the Carerix user interface; however, if they contain a value, it will be visible on the match, and you can filter based on it.

Candidates Created by Source

In the 'Candidates Created by Source' chart, a bar chart is presented that displays the number of candidates per source created during the selected period (default: this month).
