Are you using a Microsoft Mail server and do you get an error message when retrieving mail, there is a good chance that Microsoft has implemented an update for you.

The solution

  1. Log in to your Carerix application

  2. Go to Maintenance Settings

  3. Check whether the IMAP OAuth2 function is activated.

  4. If not, send a message to and we will activate it for you.

Why are you receiving this error message?

Microsoft has an update planned for 2022 where OAuth2 (two-step verification) becomes mandatory. It seems that this update is being rolled out earlier than communicated by Microsoft.
