Anonymization Tool – Activation and Setup

Delete personal data of candidates and contacts for GDPR compliance

Use the Anonymization Tool to delete personal data of candidates and contacts. This is essential for GDPR compliance: when someone does not consent to storing their data, you must be able to delete their record. The tool works for individual records and in bulk.

IMPORTANT: Deleted data cannot be restored. Make sure you select the correct records before anonymizing.

Activation (for Administrator)

The Administrator must complete three steps:

  1. Enable the Anonymization Tool: Go to Settings and enable the Anonymization Tool.

  2. Choose fields and related items: Determine which fields are deleted (for example, attachments, education, skills, work history).

  3. Grant user access: By default, only Administrators have access. Grant access to other users via the user role settings.

How to Use

After activation, users can access the tool in two ways:

Per candidate or contact

Click the Anonymize button in the record.

Multiple records at once

Select multiple records in the overview → click Actions → choose Anonymize (Candidate or Contact).
