With Recruitment Marketing Automation (RMA) you can build a form to collect answers from candidates by email or via a WhatsApp Send Survey.
And use those answers directly in Carerix.
A form has three tabs: Content, Logic and Evaluation.
This article walks you through all three, including the newest one: automatically evaluating a candidate's answers.
💡 Tip: Not sure where to start? Duplicate one of the ready-made templates in the Template Library and adjust it to your process.
1. Add your questions (Content)
1. Add your questions (Content)
Open the form builder and start a new form, or duplicate an existing one.
Add questions one by one. Yes/No, multiple choice, short or long text, rating, date, number, file upload, contact details and redirect URL are the most used types.
For every question you can set a Description for extra context, mark it as required, or hide it while it still stores a value (for example a default or system-generated answer). Choice-type questions have extra options too, such as an image, a placeholder, a button label for chat-style display, and an automatic reply sent back when a specific option is chosen.
2. Guide the flow (Logic)
2. Guide the flow (Logic)
Use the Logic tab to send a respondent to a different question, or straight to the end screen, based on the answer they just gave.
For example, only show a follow-up question when a rating is 7 or lower.
3. Evaluate the answers (Evaluation)
3. Evaluate the answers (Evaluation)
The Evaluatie tab turns a form into a screening tool:
Every answer can automatically be checked, scored and translated into an outcome in Carerix, no manual review needed.
Switch on the categories you want to use; each one can also be switched off per question. You can configure Criteria, Scoring and Skills from this tab across every question at once, or open the same settings under an individual question in Content. Both edit the same configuration, so use whichever is quicker for the change you're making.
Summary: Generates a short written summary of the respondent's answers, shown next to the evaluation result.
Criteria: mark a question as Must-have or Nice-to-have, then decide how it's checked.
Use answer rules lets you build a condition, e.g. "Driver licence" is equal to "B E"; Assess with AI lets AI judge the answer against instructions.
A form only fails a candidate when a Required criterion isn't met.
Scoring: Award points per question and group the total into ranges under scores (e.g. Low from 0%, Medium from 50%, High from 80%). Points can be fixed or awarded through answer rules or AI, the same way as Criteria.
Skills: Link answers to a skill, and set how much a given answer should contribute to it. For AI-based questions, describe the signals AI should look for.
Generated fields: Write instructions for AI describing how to turn the result into a value for a Carerix field, then map that outcome to the field (e.g. Match: Stage) using +Data source or + Create custom output. Suggest with AI can draft the instructions for you. You can add several outputs and reorder them.
👉🏼 Please note: a generated field only updates Carerix once the instructions are clear about every outcome - what should happen when all Required questions pass, when a Desired one doesn't, and when an answer is ambiguous. Ambiguous answers should never automatically fail a candidate on a Desired criterion.
4. Test before you publish (Test & evaluate)
4. Test before you publish (Test & evaluate)
Before you publish, open Test & evaluate to see exactly how a response will be evaluated. Fill in the form yourself, or use Auto-fill with AI to generate a scenario: Random answers, Ideal candidate, Borderline case, Unsuitable candidate or Partially filled.
The result panel shows whether the response meets the Criteria, the Scoring percentage and range, the Vaardigheden contribution, the generated Samenvatting, and the value each Gegenereerde veld would receive.
💡 Tip: run through all five scenarios, especially the borderline and partially-filled ones, before you publish - the outcome can trigger automations further down the line, such as updating a match stage.
