🛠️ Release notes Carerix 5.378
Each update includes major and/or minor improvements and bug fixes to optimize performance and user experience. Not all changes are immediately visible. If an update affects the functionality or interface of the software, we briefly explain it below.
✅ My Assistant: Show original CV in candidate and match
When the original CV is available as a PDF attachment in a candidate file, the CV tab in candidates and matches will display the original CV. Other files will still be shown as plain text.
✅ My Assistant: Changing candidate rating is now automatically and instantly saved
Previously, changing a candidate’s rating using the stars in the candidate window required confirmation before you could continue with other tasks. A popup would ask you to save or cancel the change. In daily use, this was experienced as inconvenient. As of this release, any change to the star rating is saved immediately. Much easier and more efficient!
✅ Matches: New default field to register reason for rejection or withdrawal
To better support the registration of rejection or withdrawal reasons by a candidate—and to make this more consistent for reporting purposes—there is now an option to record these reasons directly in the match file, independently of the match phase.
We’ve included a set of default reasons, but as a Carerix administrator, you can edit or expand these based on your own needs.
✅ Deduplication: API settings now applied in the UI for consistent deduplication
It has been possible for some time to configure which values the system should consider when detecting duplicate candidates created via the API using the searchDuplicatesBindingFields
setting in Carerix.
These API settings are now extended to the Carerix application itself. This means that manual candidate entries will also be checked for duplicates using the same criteria. It also makes email address deduplication available for manual input!
⚠️ Please note: it is important to choose your deduplication fields carefully. For example, if you only select Last name, all candidates with the same last name will be flagged as duplicates. We recommend using a combination of fields—especially when identical values are common, like with names, locations, or birthdates.
If no selection is active for the searchDuplicatesBindingFields
setting, the standard deduplication process applies. Want to know more? Check out our Help article on the default deduplication process.
✅ Bugfix: App crash when deleting large numbers of matches on jobs with many matches
We identified an issue where deleting a large number of matches on vacancies with high match volumes could cause the application to crash. A small change has been made to prevent this issue from occurring.
