The Carerix Datasource is a daily export of your Carerix data. It gives you easy access to your data for use in a BI tool such as PowerBI, Tableau, or Qlik. Two versions are available: Datasource 1.0 and Datasource 2.0.
Datasource 1.0
The original version of the Datasource delivers your data as individual CSV files.
Column separator: semicolon (;)
Includes a FileID column
Date format: European, for example 26/02/2026 13:23:00
Decimal separator: comma (,)
Datasource 2.0
The newer version of the Datasource delivers your data as a compressed archive: a .tgz file (Unix/Linux) and a .zip file (Windows/macOS). Each archive includes a readme.txt describing the changes compared to Datasource 1.0.
Column separator: comma (,)
No FileID column
Date format: ISO 8601, for example 2026-02-26 13:23:00
Decimal separator: dot (.)
Empty value: shown as "" instead of a blank/NULL value
Both versions are currently available. Where possible, we recommend switching to Datasource 2.0.
Specifications (both versions)
Daily fresh data: from 6 AM, the files with the previous day's data are ready. For example, Thursday's data is available by 6 AM on Friday.
More than 80 files, one per entity/table.
File names stay the same and are overwritten daily with a new date.
Additional/custom fields are included by default, as a separate column, in files such as Cruser, Crvacancy, and Crcompany.
Note: additional info fields can be very long due to text fields. MaxVarcharSize = 3000.
Retrieving files
Both versions can be retrieved via FTPS and via Amazon S3. S3 is strongly preferred. See our article Carerix Datasource | how to link / retrieve datasource files for the technical steps per method.
