Troubleshooting | Browser: Google Chrome

Updated over 4 years ago

When working with Carerix, all pages should display properly: With a menu at the left, and the context bar at the top.

This article describes the situation where the display is incorrect or incomplete, and what can be done to remedy the situation.

Problem

Sometimes the page show incorrect or incomplete.

Examples:

  • No menu at left

  • Wrong tables are shown (i.e.: owners when you expect language)

  • Just the menu and/or some buttons: the list of received emails is missing

  • Menu double, no other content, see the example at right:

Reason

A Carerix page is "built" using JavaScript. When the Carerix page is called the wrong way, or this JavaScript develops an error when underway from our server to your computer(s), the page display buildup can go wrong.

Solution

Often a simple page refresh (F5) is enough, but if the error persists, use follow the instructions below:

Internet connection

First of all, make sure that your internet connection is OK. Install WinMTR to check network quality

Pages in Cache

You can read the following articles to learn how you can delete your cache & cookies for Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox.

Alternative for Chrome

In the case of Google Chrome you can also choose to only delete the cache & cookies related to Carerix instead of all of them.

You can do this by pasting the following URL in a new tab: chrome://settings/siteData?searchSubpage=carerix.net and clicking 'Remove All Shown'.

Note: When more computers at the same location have this problem, there might be a "caching proxy" that causes the problem. Ask you system administrator to check this and bypass the cache for all *.carerix.com and *.carerix.net.

Proper URL

Always use https://customername.carerix.net to connect to Carerix. Use of https://customername.carerix.com is no longer supported.
