Before you can start with RMA WhatsApp, you need a WhatsApp for Business account from META.
In this article we will offer you 2 different ways to get your WhatsApp for Business Account ready to go. For a complete overview, please watch the video attached to the bottom of this article so you can easily follow the steps. (Dutch)
1. Create a WhatsApp for Business Account - from scratch

Login or Sign-up for a personal META account and make sure your personal account is added to your META Business Suite.
Login or sign-up here.
Go to the [Settings] from your Company Portfolio and click on [WhatsApp accounts]
There won't be any accounts showing in this overview if you haven't had a WhatsApp Business Account in the past.
Add a new WhatsApp Business Account
Click on [add] in the upper corner and click on [create a new WhatsApp Business Account]
Add your Company name and the Category "Professional services".
Select the phone number that you would like to use.
1. You can create a virtual number. This number won't be approved by META and gives you limited messages, but is a great way to start testing your workflows and setting up WhatsApp templates.
2. Add a new number. If you already have a number that is NOT connected to another WhatsApp provider, you can easily add your number.

Your account is now created.
Click on the button to add a payment method and click on [Add] your payment method.
Pick one of the two options and continueGo back to the overview of your WhatsApp Business Accounts and click on [WhatsApp configuration] on the right corner. Here you are able to view your number and/or add another number if you chose to start with a virtual number.

Sign into your META business Suite
Go to [Settings] and click on [WhatsApp Accounts]
Create a new WhatsApp Business Account, even if you are already using another one.
Adding a phone number
Choose a virtual number if your current number is still in use by another provider and you want to transfer it later on.
This might take some time and a virtual number makes you able to start working with RMA and WhatsApp templates asap.

If you want to transfer your number:
Ask your current provider to disconnect your phone number.
Once the provider gives you the confirmation about the number being free; you can delete/disconnect the number from your old WhatsApp Business Account and add the number to your newly created WhatsApp Business Account.
